Morning Grind: Madonna Rumored to produce Trims on 'W.E.' plus much more

With backing from Harvey Weinstein, Madonna's latest directorial effort 'W.E.' was considered a possible honours contender with this particular fall. It opened up within the Venice Film Festival to hoots, hollers, and very negative reviews. Might be the fabric Girl's new film dead in water? Not according to Page Six: the NY Publish gossip column claims that Madonna is cutting 10 mins from 'W.E.' before its release in December. Mentioned Madonna for the Daily Mail: "Maybe it takes a bit of the and a bit of this, and possibly it's still an item happening ... For God's sake, I am hoping it's finished soon!" His new film -- which isn't really formally titled 'This Is Forty,' but might as well be -- will finish filming on Tuesday.
